Brochure vs. Booklet: What Is the Difference?
The difference between a brochure and a booklet lies in their design, purpose and methods of use.
In general, brochures are designed for more detailed and long-term presentation of information, while booklets are used for quick and mass information to the audience. Below we will consider the differences in more detail.
Design and format
Booklet. It is a one-page document that is folded several times, but not bound like a brochure. As a rule, printing of booklets ordered with two or three folds, folded in various ways, for example: in half, accordion, deltoid or any other way.
Brochure. It is a multi-page printed product that looks like a paperback book. Brochures are fastened in various ways: with staples, bolts, springs or glue. Formats can vary from A3 to A6, and the number of pages is usually several dozen.

Purpose and application
Brochure: Used to present detailed information about a product, service or company. It can be an instruction, educational material or advertising tool. Brochures are usually created for long-term use, often distributed in direct contact with customers to emphasize the importance and quality of the information presented.
Booklet: Most often used to disseminate short and relevant information. It may be informational, educational or promotional, but is not intended for long-term storage. Booklets are usually distributed en masse, for example, at exhibitions, presentations or places of mass gathering of people.
Quality and materials
Brochure: Printed on high-density paper with quality color printing, often with additional post-press effects such as lamination or UV coating, making it more durable and presentable.
Booklet: Usually printed on lighter paper, often without additional processing. This makes booklets less expensive to produce but less durable compared to brochures.
